The Right to Your Opinion
Reading through this blog post I felt that there was a lot to process. The phrase "I am entitled to my opinion" started to have less structure to it, meaning it started to appear as if it didn't really mean anything because of what it causes to discussions. When someone says that they are entitled to an opinion, they are, but it would be helpful of them to back up their opinion with evidence to at least somewhat prove that their opinion is supported. In a way, stating that phrase shows that the person has completely blocked out any other opinions, so how can anyone really find out who is right or wrong? If everyone believes that their opinion is right and everyone else's is wrong, how can we ever find out who is actually right without any supportive evidence?
