The Socratic Method

After viewing the blog post, I was left a bit confused. Reading through, I couldn't really comprehend what was being said because of so many words being brought to my eyes all at once. Nonetheless, I do feel that the Socratic Method allowed me to view that Socratic Seminars are used for more than just torturing students with talking among others about a topic that they are forced to learn. I realize now that they allow both the students and teachers to learn about each others views and share their knowledge about certain topics with one another. Yet, at the same time, the fact that students are graded on whether they have enough courage or knowledge to share their views concerns me, but overall the Socratic Method is beneficial for many reasons.
