My Thesis Statement

Honestly, I believe that having a prompt given to us in order to reflect on a story like "Young Goodman Brown" would be much easier than not being given a prompt. For many reasons, one being that we're teenagers- we want everything done quickly and knowing that all we have to do is satisfy the prompt that is given to us, then it makes our work much easier. Also, if we were given the opportunity to just write an essay with no restrictions or with whatever knowledge we've got, yes that would be easy to write because all we would really do is ramble, but I don't think that us rambling would really allow us to make our audience and ourselves understand what we're trying to say.
