Young Old Good Bad
I think Hawthorne wrote "Young Goodman Brown" to show how there is always a bad side to every good side, evil is where you least expect it. I believe Stephen King was so affected by the story because the story was written so real, it had the traits of everything that is able to happen in real life and described how not everything is what it seems. Due to the way that the author had written it, it almost felt like the readers were experiencing the story in real life and could physically see how every evil truth was uncovered and how it affected it. The story says that we can never really know everything about other people, and the power of our imaginations are so strong that they are able to create an intense and real-like situation of anything we think of.
