Syllogism: simplest form of logical argument.

  • a syllogism is composed of two premises and a conclusion
  • "therefore" is a key clue that the conclusion is coming up
  • evaluate them to see if they're true and to see if they're valid
    • TRUE: factually verifiable in the world
    • VALIDITY: "do the premises support the conclusion?"

-TRUE: Queensland is in Australia and Australia is battling a horrible wildfire
BUT
