-Daisy and Tom had left with a baggage and left nothing for Nick to trace them
-No one answered back or even showed care for the fact that Gatsby was dead

-Both Gatsby's father and Meyer Wolfshiem consider the pattern of "Mad Man"
-Nick is finding out that people who have been around Gatsby for awhile, don't even care about him
-Meyer Wolfshiem mentions that he "made" Gatsby, he transformed him from rags to riches
-Nick is at the funeral and he's reflecting on his life because of the atmosphere and emotions
-Makes Nick realize that he's a "fish out of water" and he needs to go back home
-Jordan reveals that she was engaged to another man
