- Gatsby stops having parties because Daisy didn't like them, she left his party early, so he decided to stop having them because obviously he'll do whatever it takes to satisfy Daisy.
- Gatsby fires his staff because Daisy said she didn't want any gossipers around when she came over, and some wannabe business men replaced the staff.
- Daisy was almost uninterested in her daughter, she just showed her attention because guests were over but she didn't really seem to care much for her. Gatsby couldn't even believe his eyes, when he saw Daisy's daughter he was taken aback.
- Gatsby and Tom began to get into a heated argument, although Tom was losing horribly. I think we all know that Gatsby wins- anyone compared to Gatsby is practically nothing, atleast that's what the book seems to give off. (PS: Gatsby tells Tom that Daisy never loved him and that is the biggest news.)
- Gatsby tells Daisy to tell Tom that she never loved him, he insisted and assured her to tell the truth. Daisy never loved Tom... false.
- Nick turns 30, on the ride back home Tom finally seems... empty. He appears to be unhappy and drained of all emotions, but he fakes his happiness and laughter.
- Myrtle, Tom's mistress, is dead. Tom, Nick, and Jordan stop by at the scene without knowing what has happened, and then Tom starts panicking. Gatsby reveals that Daisy was driving the car, perhaps she had killed Myrtle on purpose.
- In the end Tom and Daisy end up talking over cold fried chicken and Ale, but they don't pay attention to the food and instead appear to be scheming or talking over something. Tom and Daisy weren't happy, but they weren't unhappy either.
