how you know what i know

We're wrapping up this week with ending chapter 4 of Gatsby and finishing up our posts with some final thoughts.

So here's mine:
I can show what I learn about what we read by posting some summaries or notes of the book. So far in the book we've met Nick (the narrator), Gatsby, Daisy and Tom Buchanan, Myrtle (Tom's mistress) and many others that don't hold that much significance. We've learned that Nick is one of the most honest people he's ever met because all the others seems to be too self-indulged or liars. They're all gossips and big-mouthed people who don't know how to properly express themselves in fear of being judged and labeled as an outcast. We also learn that Gatsby is familiar with strange people, and maybe that points towards how exactly he is so rich and, well Great. Finally, something huge that we learned towards chapter 4 is that Gatsby was Daisy's (Buchanan) young lover and he's been obsessed with her ever since he returned back from going to war.
