No Guts No Glory
In our current class book, we've read that Montag realizes that the firemen had pulled up at his house due to the fire alarm ringing. The question is was Montag's decision to read books worth the risk?
I'd say it was worth the risk for Montag to read the books because it gave him a sense of what it feels like to view life differently. Their dystopian society has been restricting them from exploring different knowledge through books and pages, that I'd say that Montag taking the risk was truly a bold but "worth-it" move. He realized that he would prefer to experience and gain wisdom through paper and words instead of television screens and technology. Sometimes doing it the old-fashioned way is always better.
