Catch-22 (noun): Referring to when someone finds themselves between two decisions that don't go together.
In my own words, how do I explain catch-22?
Catch-22 is like when you're stuck in an impossible situation. This is the result because you can't do one thing until you do another thing, but you can't do the second thing unless you've done the first thing. it's a frustrating dilemma, really. It's just where one requirement is dependant upon another, but then that requirement is based upon the first, you see? I can't really explain it, I've just been explaining the same thing but with different synonyms.
